Find answers to the most common questions about CBD & Hemp.

WHAT IS CBD OIL?

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil or hemp CBD oil is an oil that is extracted from the stalk and seeds of the hemp plant. CBD oil specifically has a high concentration of the natural botanical compound CBD.

WHAT IS HEMP OIL?

Hemp seed oil is cold pressed and extracted from the seed of the hemp plant and has amazing omega fatty acids.

ARE CBD AND HEMP OIL THE SAME THING?

CBD hemp oil and hemp oil are not the same things. Regular, non-CBD hemp oil does not contain the same concentration of CBD that CBD oil has. Some hemp oils have low to nonexistent levels of CBD.

WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?

The first thing to understand is that although most people think of Cannabinoids and CBD as the same thing, this is not the case. CBD, which stands for Cannabidiol, is just one of over 100 different types of cannabinoids that are contained within the different cannabis plants.

A cannabinoid is a class of different chemical compounds that affect cannabinoid receptors in the body to help with a variety of health benefits to the body.

WHICH HEMP SUPPLEMENT IS THE BEST FOR YOU?

Full spectrum hemp extract supplement provides the most benefits of any hemp product. Because it contains the hemp seed oil, and all of the 100+ cannabinoids found within the hemp plant and not just the CBD, it stands to have amazing benefits and the only type of supplement we would recommend using.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF FULL SPECTRUM HEMP OIL?

Full spectrum hemp oil provides a number of health benefits for all areas of health.

Here are a few of the most exciting benefits:

Pain and inflammation relief

Has antipsychotic effects

Reduces anxiety

Lowers risk of diabetes

Improves skin conditions

Promotes healthy weight

Helps battle cancer

Helps with insomnia

Promotes heart health

Reduces oxidative stress.

IS CBD OIL LEGAL?

Cannabidiol has shown this potential for years but the taboo around Cannabis has kept cannabidiol off the radar. It is important to understand that after the processing of Full Spectrum Hemp in order to get the benefits of Cannabidiol that the product will test less than .3% THC  similar to poppy seeds testing free of opiates after processing.

This makes it a nutritional supplement that is legal over-the-counter in ALL 50 states. Now that hemp is gaining traction with a better reputation it appears this compound found in full spectrum hemp is poised for big market growth.

DOES HEMP CONTAIN THC?

While they are both Sativa plants the Cannabis Sativa (Research based Hemp) is generally very low in THC (less than .3%) and high in a substance called cannabidiol (CBD). Cannabidiol carries approximately 80%  of the medical benefits that would have been found in sativa Indica (medical marijuana).

CAN HEMP OR CBD OIL MAKE YOU HIGH?

No! Hemp products will not make you high because they do not contain high levels of THC, the psychoactive agent found in marijuana.

WILL HEMP PRODUCTS MAKE YOU FAIL A DRUG TEST?

It is very unlikely that CBD will show up in a drug test. Tests are generally given to identify the presence of THC. Legal hemp oil products on the market have less than .3% THC.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTH RISKS OF HEMP OIL?

Full spectrum hemp extract is generally safe for most people. Different people have the potential to react differently to it though so it’s always a good recommendation to consult a doctor before trying a new supplement.

WHAT ARE TERPENES?

Terpenes or isoprenoids, provide cannabis with its unique bouquet. The molecules are quite small and consist of repeating units of a compound called isoprene. Although less well-known than the major cannabinoids, terpenes play a vital role in the plant kingdom; they deter insect predication, protect plants from environmental stresses, and act as building blocks for more complex molecules, such as cannabinoids.

Many terpenes act synergistically with other varieties of terpenes, and some either catalyze or inhibit formation of different compounds within a plant.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP AND MARIJUANA?

Hemp and marijuana belong to the same family of cannabis plants, like siblings in the same family tree.

Hemp contains low levels of THC and high levels of CBD. Hemp is harvested for its seeds and fiber.

Marijuana, on the other hand, contains high levels of the psychoactive compound THC. Marijuana is grown for its flowering tops and leaves.
